Your prescription is yours. We give you a copy after your exam and fitting, and you can fill it anywhere.
Glasses
After your exam you get your glasses prescription, in writing. You don't have to ask, and you don't have to buy from us.
Contact lenses
When your fitting is complete, you get your contact lens prescription. It lists the lens, the size and how long it is good for.
Fill it anywhere
Take it to any seller you like, here or online. If a seller asks us to confirm it, we do.
Why we say it plainly
Federal rules say the doctor gives you your prescription after an exam and a fitting. We say it out loud because many people don't know it. The price of the exam is a separate matter, and how it is billed is on the fees page.
